Mijas is family owned and operated founded by sister & brother team, Andrea & Jose Rodriguez. The restaurant business is nothing new to these two siblings who grow up in a restaurant their father “Papa Joe” owned nearly 12 years ago, El Taco Caliente. As kids Andrea & Jose watched their father slave in the Kitchen for hours upon hours making sure he always used the freshest ingredients and perfect blends of spices to create the brilliant sauces and savory meats that would be used to prepare his truly one of a kind meals.
